We will not be doing a liver cleanse at this event unfortunately however, if you are curious to try one here's some tips to do it the proper way. I'm gonna get right into it because I love doing these and I want the same experience for you!
Our feet have over 7000 nerve endings and some of the largest pores on our body, which means they're a direct highway to your lymphatic system. Having a magnesium foot soak is a form of transdermal detox through your feet, moving toxins three times faster.
So how do you actually do it properly? Easy Peasy!
- Hot water, as hot as you can handle. Heat's going to open up those pores and it's going to get the lymph moving ASAP.
- Stainless steel or Glass large pan (large enough for your feet), not only to protect your own
skin, but also the essential oils are best in glass or steel.
- Add one cup of epsom salt, the magnesium pulls out heavy metals and reduces inflammation, while your muscles actually relax for once. You can use regular epsom salt or buy magnesium flakes! Those are top of the line but not the only form that can work well.
- Add a half a cup of apple cider vinegar. This is going to balance
your skin's pH. It's going to break down the toxins, and it's going to loosen up the toxins that are actually stuck in your tissue.
- Drop in rosemary, lavender or ginger (I like using a couple drops each, but you can also use one and use 6 drops). These are going to stimulate circulation, move stagnant lymph. And the scent - is DIVINE.
- And the last step most people miss - DRY brush your feet
afterwards, towards your heart. You'll notice less brain fog, better sleep, weirdly enough, clear skin.
This isn't just relaxation, it's detoxification, especially your mind is going to recognize that you're giving yourself more love! And who doesn't need this going into a new year?
My challenge to you is to try one before December 31st, 2025.
And hopefully I'll see you this Thursday for the last sound bath 6pm - 7:30pm
