Hello Purposeful Soul, Tap into Your SOLAR PLEXUS

Welcome to my CHAKRA SERIES #3!  

I have been sharing with each of you a deep dive into each of our energy centers.  And you those of you who missed the first couple I covered our ROOT & SACRAL so far. Today I cover your Solar Plexus.    

Are you connected to your Solar Plexus?  

How do you locate it? 

How Do I remember it? 

Why is it important? 

When I need to work on my solar plexus, the word "solar" reminds me of the sun, and the sun is yellow!  Place your hand just above your navel area, and this is where your emotion and self-esteem part of you is found.  The color like I said above is associated with this chakra is yellow.  

If you are a person who can visualize yellow in this area, ask yourself if it's a dark yellow or a very light yellow?  These are the kinds of tones we see, when our chakra is out of alignment. 

Aim for a nice bold yellow like a lemon!

AFFIRMATIONS TO SUPPORT YOUR SOLAR PLEXUS 

Self-love starts when I accept all parts of myself

Tips 

• Meditate (spotify / youtube - free)
• Add more yellow color into your life
• Eat more HOT foods and beverages
• Affirmations
• Add intentional yellow veggies
• Spend just 10min first thing in your morning outside
• Plank and Seated Twist in Yoga
• Take a ritual bath with epsom salts
• Sit in a chair, set both hands an inch above your navel, and visualize the sun beating in this area making it warm and comforted.
• Buy a crystal such as Tiger Eye, Golden Heliodor, or Citrine seen to the left here

Crystals to Have

Set these crystals anywhere you have easy access to them. Just try to avoid windows. Use as a decorative piece on your table. 

doTERRA Essential Oil to try

Bergamot - Inhale straight from bottle if you would like.

Dilute 2 drops with Fractionated Coconut Oil (Avoid Sun if applied on skin and if outside.) and apply an inch above your navel.

The Solar Plexus is centered around our core. To bring more attention and care to your core, building up physical strength in this area is the best thing you could do to bring awareness to this are of your body. 

Don't forget to choose whole foods that are also yellow! 

I also include here my introduction to "GROUNDING" which is connected to our ROOT chakra and you will feel a sense of belonging, security and safety when you begin to practice this habit. 

It is always a good idea to ground when feeling unbalanced, anxious, indecisive or just plain out of sorts.
