Honestly, just take a moment to take a step back and ask yourself in ANY scenario if you are feeling anxious, scared, angry, sad amongst all the other negative emotions we experience all the time as humans are you:
Drinking 64 oz. daily at a minimum?
Are you getting your heart rate up so you start to sweat a bit?
Are you taking time to consciously breathe - take just 5 minutes in the morning, mid afternoon and before bed to re-center yourself. Think about your day and choose just one thing that happened that made you feel happy, good or warm inside - does not matter what it is. Is this the 4-7-8 breathing technique? No, just develop a simple habit you can maintain then move to other breathing
techniques.
Are you focused on shopping the grocery store on the outside isles or the inside? Do you know shopping anywhere other than the outside isles are all crap! Sorry - but it's true. All packaged foods are available inside and the best of the best
products outside. Focus your shopping on the perimeter of the store - start there and see how it feels for a couple weeks. Your vibe will increase, you will feel connected to the fruits of our earth!
Are you hitting a goal of walking 10k per day and getting outside?
I am still not there, some days I walk alot less working from home and others I do more - but consistency is KEY! Aim for consistency if nothing else. If your average is 200 steps a day - double it. If it is 4,000 steps a day, increase it by 2,000 additional. You will soon be hitting your new goal you never knew was there!
And lastly but not least. Are you sleeping between 7-9 hours minimum daily? For women who menstruate need more sleep during this time than when they are not. So let's say you average 9 hours or even 10 hours of sleep at night for the week in your cycle, you may only need 7 hours after you menstruate - that is fine. You never want to just be getting 5 hours and demanding yourself to function properly.
If I had consistently followed exactly what my neurologist told me eight years ago, I would have dodged a few health situations. I learned the hard and long way and now I am applying these rules best I can daily.
